Harry Potter

At approximately 12:03 this morning, we acquired our copies of the last book in the Harry Potter Series - The Deathly Hallows.

No, that's not Barnes and Noble in the background. We went there at about 9:30 and there was a line to get INTO the building that only moved when someone came out. So we opted to take our chances at Wegman's. We were 8th in line and with three 'Harry Potter Express Lanes' open, we were the second to check out with our books.

After staying up most of the night, Dan and I are about 200 pages from the end. I won't spoil it for anyone, but it's certainly darker than any of the other books. It will interesting to see if they wind up having to tone it down for the movie...

I actually the ending was kinda lame.... a copout after all these years.

[semi-spoiler....]

Very anti-clamactic. Sure the death-toll to get there was obscenely high, but "who doesn't die", frankly, was a copout.
